Read Time:1 Minute, 44 Second

Not just a kids wear brand. Vild wants to do more .They work closely with the charity mothers2mothers and collaborate with various people on their amazing launch events.

During one of their recent events, they launched their limited edition space print collection. This was in partnership with World Space Week. An evening with a film installation featuring the first female human computers at NASA and bringing together 50 female artists, scientists and engineers to celebrate females in science and encourage a powerful start for girls in the future.

Sofia and Allison work together on every aspect of the designs. Up to date they have their ongoing basic collection and are working on their 6th limited edition collection.

Their vision of being trans seasonal and not to follow any rigid business model but to create and grow organically is refreshing to hear. Slow fashion in the kids wear market is an interesting and important focus point.

Their designs grow with the child, will last longer and can be handed down due to their quality .

I asked them what their near future plans are and was excited to hear that Vild will expand into interior.

Specifically, VILD has supported mothers2mothers to-date by:

– donating 20% of proceeds from all sales from our Limited Edition Collections

– donating proceeds of Limited Edition Collection sales and tickets from special collection launch events. For example: ‘Watch This Space’, ‘Little Wild Brunchers’ with the ACE Hotel, and VILD x PUSS PUSS Magazine at Paper Mache Tiger.

– Sofia and Allison have worked with mothers2mothers on supporting various special initiatives and program planning

– Allison is a Global Ambassador for mothers2mothers. She recently visited the head office in Cape Town and was working with the Mentor Mothers at their facilities and in the communities.
