Peter Rabbit at Kew Gardens this Easter

Read Time:3 Minute, 6 Second

London’s Kew Gardens is preparing for a two-week family festival. All themed around the beloved children’s book Peter Rabbit and with a specially designed trail leading to activity.
So this year you can celebrate Easter with the whole family in the Gardens. And they will be filled with blooming crocuses, daffodils and magnolias too.

Beginning at Kew’s Secluded Garden, visitors will follow an interactive Peter Rabbit trail, including a visit to Mr. McGregor’s shed where your kids will be able to plant their own seeds to bring home.
Next the children will also be able to choose a Peter Rabbit character to inhabit for the day and make their own fuzzy bunny ears.

What can you do?

  • Kids and adults will be able to get stuck into giant card games, animal top trumps and vegetable Guess Who activities.
  • Equally important is the hilarious veggie consequences game will offer the chance to create your own monster vegetables.
  • Together with special Peter Rabbit photo boards that will offer the chance to take fun souvenir snaps of the day out.
  • Also, you can pop into Kew’s incredible Kitchen Garden nearby. Here you can admire the amazing display of colourful fruit and vegetables grown by Kew’s very own kitchen gardeners.
  • Coupled with a variety of delicious Easter culinary offerings available at the festival hub.
  • Do not forget to discover Beatrix Potter’s links with Kew, her struggles to get recognised in the scientific community and how this led her to create her world-famous characters.

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Penguin Ventures to produce a brand new and truly magical Peter Rabbit™ themed Easter festival at Kew. I am sure our interactive trail and activities will delight visitors of all ages and will encourage youngsters to learn a little about the science behind the fruit and veg that Peter Rabbit so loves to eat.
